Jab hamne pyar karna chaha to,
Unhone hamse nata tod liya.
Jab kabhi aayi yad hamein unki,
Unhone bhi na kahte hue munh mod liya.
Aakhir kabhi na aayegi yaad unhe hamari.
Sochkar vinod ne bhi umeed ka daman chod diya.
Tarsate rahe unki ek jhalak pane ko,
Aur apna har rasta dukhon ki aur mod liya.
Jab ehsas hua hamari sachchhi mohbbat ka unhe,
Tab tak hum us mukam pe the,
Jahan se laut kar aana hamare liye mushkil,
Aur hame pana unke liye namunkin tha.
